Australia Day - January 26th
What is Australia Day?
Australia day is a public holiday in all States and Territories. It is a day where Australians come together to reflect on what we have achieved and be proud of our nation.
There are many celebrations and parties on Australia day. Each state and territory has a major event to celebrate this wonderful day, this ranges from fireworks to surfboard challenges, to traditional Aboriginal preformances.
This year Australia day is on a Friday, which means many Aussies will be looking forward to a long
weekend!
Australia Day is a great excuse to "whack and sanger on the barbie" and wear ridiculous aprons and "good 'ol thongs" and lets not to forget to mention a nice drop of beer or two (thank heavens for the looong weekend - we will need it).
Australia day is a great excuse to do every thing Australian, from waking up in the morning to that fresh vegemite toast, to spending the day at the beach with a beer. Join us celebrate this day, by purchasing your Australiana items here
