Paxo Sage & Onion Stuffing

Of all the stuffing that is sold in the UK - Paxo remains numero uno.  The stuffing was originally invented in 1901 by John Crampton a butcher from Manchester in Northern England.

At that time poultry was a treat and because stuffing is associated with poultry, sales of Paxo didn't do well until buying poultry became more economical in the 1950's and 60's.

The earliest flavour was Parsley, Lemon and Thyme however a later choice - Sage & Onion - is the most popular.

Paxo have also brought out a breadcrumbs product.  The RHM Foodservice have a number of recipes for Paxo products.
