Love or hate them? - Jacobs Twiglets
Jacobs Twiglets look similar to small twigs and the original flavour is similar to marmite (or vegemite for the antipodeans). Admittedly they are an acquired taste - similar to pretzel sticks and could be described as crunchy, knobbly, and whole wheat snacks.
The snack used to be owned by Danone but is now owned by United Biscuits who also own McVitie's (those Britons like their biscuits). Because the brand is so closely associated with Marmite - the same rule applies, you either love them or hate them. Apparently, they became even more popular when people learnt that Diana, Princess of Wales loved them.
Some people say that twiglets are not as "marmitey" as they used to be in the good old days - however its owners claim that the recipe has remained the same. Recent flavours have included: Twiglet's Curry Flavour (flavor for N.Americans) Twiglet's Tangy Flavour.
