Kiehl's Beauty Products

Kiehl's originally began as an apothecary (pharmacist to you and me) in 1851 in Manhattan 's East Village. The first Kiehl's branded products did not appear until the early 1900's, the products really took off in the 1960's as Kiehl's chemists and pharmacists developed the range of products.

Because the staff of Kiehl's are trained in the " value of formula ingredients and their efficacy" the customer experience is unparalleled as Kiehl's staff "continues to "prescribe" a personal care regimen that is most appropriate for the individual's skin and hair care needs".

Kiehl's have been very supportive of promoting exercise and an active lifestyle. They are known for displaying vintage motorcycles in their stores and on occasion have record-breaking attempts such as the longest run on a treadmill in their New York flagship store in 2004.

Their products are known for their no frills packaging and superior ingredients. In fact, Kiehl's has managed to cultivate an almost cult-like following, with little to no advertising!
